By being a sponsor, the gift one makes to Heritage Square Museum creates impact. From the restoration of our buildings, the exhibitions we produce, to the special educational events and programs the museum executes, sponsorships support the organization in making it all happen.
A sponsorship may be very simple, such as purchasing an ad in the quarterly member newsletter, On the Square. It could support one of our major events and cover some of the program costs, such as the catering cost for our annual Vintage Fashion Show and Tea. Sponsorships may be designated to purchase materials or provide buses for school children who participate in our educational program, A Golden Vision: The Growth of Southern California. Or, a major gift could be the catalyst to help a long standing restoration project, such as the interior restoration of the Lincoln Avenue Methodists Church or John Ford House, move forward. Sponsorships may also be in-kind in nature, for instance supplying building materials such as paint, primer, wood and more toward the museum’s hands-on training program for veterans, Preservation through Practice.
There are many ways to make a difference at Heritage Square Museum. Sponsorship from individuals, groups, corporations and foundations are used to enable Heritage Square to continue its work in not only restoring its exquisite historic structures, but provide fun, family-oriented and educational experiences for visitors of all ages. To find out how you can create a lasting impact, contact the museum offices Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 323-225-2700.
