A special screening of a documentary regarding the inspiring story of California women’s heartfelt struggle for the vote. Using both historical materials and live reenactments, this film presents the dramatic Suffrage campaign that won the women of California the right to vote nine years before the Federal Amendment. The 39 minute film is directed by acclaimed documentary filmmaker, Martha Wheelock, of Wild West Women Films, portions of the documentary were shot at Heritage Square.
